About Me

I am from Karnal, India. I joined Oklahoma State University in Spring 2008. Currently, I am pursuing Ph.D. in the Department of Biosytems and Agricultural Engineering under the guidance of Dr. Carol L. Jones. I did my Bachelor's in Food Technology from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Punjab and M.Tech in Processing and Food Engineering from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana.

My research interests includes harvest, drying, collection, storage, and densification of biomass, post-harvest physiology of food and agricultural crops, and hyperspectral sensing. I have experience of evaluating compositional analysis of biomass using NREL laboratory analytical procedures. I have also worked with equipments such as HPLC, GC, ASE (Accelerated Solvent Extractor),Spectrometer,and Instron testing machine. My software skills include ArcGIS, DSSAT4, MATLABR2009a, AMPL, SAS 9.2, SPSS 17 (PASW 17), Unscrambler X 10.1, Microsoft Access, and Microsoft Project.
