(1) Dean Curl received a very nice note from Mrs. Lee Talley, commenting
on the excellent work done by ASAE Student Branch members when they worked
at her house as part of OSU's "Big Event". Mrs. Tally wrote: "They were
so very courteous, and quickly took charge -- doing far more than I had
asked for, and would have done more had I let them. You must be very proud
of these wonderful students."

(2) Members of the Student Branch did an outstanding job in catering the
departmental cookout on April 17. I heard positive feedback from many who
attended, including members of our BAE Advisory Committee.

(3) On Friday Marge Johnston, our extraordinary BAE "Mom", spearheaded
the distribution of snack bags for students as part of the OSU Celebrate
Students day. We do love our students!
