Marvin L. Stone, was awarded the 2001 Halliburton Foundation Award of Excellence from the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology (CEAT). The award was presented at the Fall CEAT Faculty meeting by Dean Karl Reid and is in recognition of Dr. Stone's outstanding achievement and professionalism in education, research and service to students. It is given out to only two senior and two junior faculty each year within the College. Dr. Stone also received the award in 1990 as a junior faculty member.
