Dr. Ronnie Morgan has been honored as the recipient of the Distinguished Ag Alumnus Award by the College of Agricultural Science and Natural Resourses (CASNR). Dr. Morgan received both B.S. and M.S. degrees from our department in 1975 and 1976. His Ph.D. was awarded by Texas A&M in 1979. His very successful career (really, multiple careers) including contributions to academia, the food industry, the oil field services industry, and farming/ranching (see http://www.greatplainsusa.com/texomabeefmaster ). Ronnie has also taken an active part in the BAE Industrial Advisor Committee. This prestigious award was presented at the CASNR Convocation, on December 15, 2001.
