At the June 2001 Meeting, the Board of Regents named
Dr. Billy Barfield
a Regents Service Professor! This honor is given to select administrators
who have rendered distinguished service to the university and
have returned to regular faculty activities. This recognition
is well deserved and reflects positively on our department.
In addition during the same meeting, Drs.
Dan Storm and Glenn
Brown were promoted to the rank of Professor in recognition
of their academic accomplishments.
