1/4 Scale Tractor Team Takes Top Honors in Illinois

The Biosystems and Agriculture Engineering 1/4 Scale Tractor Team took top honors at the recent international competition sponsored by the American Society of Agricultural Engineers at Moline, Illinois.
The 1/4 Scale Tractor Team took 1st Place Overall in the annual Design Competition. Over 25 teams from the USA and Canada competed in this contest.
The Team also placed 1st in the categories of Pull Performance and Serviceability. They took 3rd with their written report, 3rd for Website Design, and 4th in Presentation. The team also received a 1st place tie in Sportsmanship, an award voted on by all of the teams in the competition. They won the Campbell Scientific Award as well, which recognizes the best electronics application in the design of the tractor.
Not to be outdone, The OSU X-team, consisting of freshmen and sophomores who modify and enter a tractor from a previous year, defended their top title by placing 1st Overall and 1st in Pull Performance.
We are very proud of both teams and all of their hard work and accomplishments!
