Carly Washmon, a senior in Biosystems
Engineering, was elected President of the National Community of
Pre-Professionals at the 1998 ASAE International Conference held
in Orlando Florida in July. Chosen by her peers from across the
U.S., this is a recognition of Carly's previous contributions
for the student members. Her new responsibilities will include
maintaining communications between students throughout the nation
and representing student interests to the National Society and
